Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know what flowers are available for sale?

We update our online store every week on Wednesday evenings, and we rename the store “Available for the Week of …” so that you can be sure you are looking at only the freshest available cut flowers. You can contact us and set up an account to view the online store. All you need to set up an account is your name, email address, business name, and Employer Identification Number (EIN). Once you’ve signed up for an account to our online store, you will also receive a weekly email from Barbara letting you know what’s available, what’s coming soon, and what we are excited about here at Greenstone Fields!

How do I place an order?

Once you have access to our online store, you can browse our weekly availability each week and simply add flowers to your shopping cart. Because we don’t have unlimited supply of flowers, the online check out process serves as a request for your purchase. You should hear back from us by Monday confirming your order or letting you know if we are out of something.  Shopping early is a great way to ensure you get what you want!

Do I have to be a designer to order flowers wholesale?

You don’t have to be a designer, but you do need an Employer Identification Number (EIN) to be able to access our online store. If you have any questions about these, please feel free to contact us.

Do you deliver?

We do! We deliver within 20 miles of our farm in Purcellville, Virginia for a flat fee of $10.00. Delivery fees and minimum orders are based on your location. If you are outside of our usual route, please contact us for more information.

Is there a minimum order for wholesale purchases?

We don’t have a minimum order for wholesale purchases if you want to stop by our farm in Purcellville, Virginia to pick-up. If you require delivery, we do have a $150.00 minimum order for deliveries within 20 miles of the farm. We may be able to accommodate deliveries further away, so please contact us!

What are the weekly deadlines for placing orders and delivery?

We post availability for the upcoming week on Wednesday evening.  We take orders until the following Tuesday at 12:00 noon. Orders after that time may not be processed. Wholesale orders are delivered, or available for pick up, on Wednesday of each week.  It’s best to order early so you can be sure we don’t sell out of the flowers you want!

For Example, for delivery on Wednesday, May 10th, we will post availability on the previous Wednesday, May 3rd. You can place orders any time between the evening of May 3rd and Tuesday, May 9th by 12:00 pm.

Why aren’t the same flowers available every week?

At Greenstone Fields, our emphasis is on fresh seasonal flower growing. This means that our flowers are available only when they are in season, and the same flowers aren’t always available week to week. If you miss a certain flower’s seasonal availability, keep an eye on our store and you might be introduced to something new!

What flowers are going to be available in future weeks?

With variables like the weather and quirky flower personalities, we can’t always predict exactly when certain flowers are going to be available to our wholesale customers. However, we have a Seasonal Availability List that gives you an approximate schedule of what’s coming on a weekly basis. We update our online store each week with what’s available, and we try to give a heads-up about what’s coming in our weekly emails.

Can I preorder flowers earlier than the week before?

We can often accommodate special requests. Please contact us and let us know what you want. We will try to help!
